About Dr. McNab

Creating better health through medical education and lifestyle medicine interventions

Dr. Rob McNab is a practicing internist in Joplin. He's been a longtime advocate for patient empowerment through education and became even more passionate about lifestyle medicine interventions after experiencing their effect on his own life. Now he's established  a new model of healthcare to deliver better care to his patients. McNab Wellness is where patients come when they are tired of an endless cycle of illness and treatment and want to create foundational wellness in their lives.  Dr. McNab has received specialized training in using lifestyle interventions to  help people live longer and better.

Elizabeth Love

After spending 20 years delivering acute care as a registered nurse in various critical care settings, Elizabeth is excited to be empowering patients with lifestyle interventions. She is enthusiastic about helping people live longer and better! With fitness and nutritional changes, she has taken control of her own health and is intending to climb mountains well into her nineties!

 

Elizabeth is a registered nurse and has a BSBA from MSSU and MBA from Missouri State. She is certified in plant-based nutrition as well as a nationally certified health and wellness coach. She is also registered Yoga teacher.

 

She spends her free time camping, hiking, kayaking, chasing grandkids, adopting lost dogs, and being ignored by a haughty cat.

This branch of medicine emphasizes the use of evidence-based lifestyle therapeutic approaches, such as a predominantly whole food, plant-based diet, physical activity, adequate sleep, stress management, avoidance of risky substances, and positive social connections as a primary modality to treat, often reverse, and prevent chronic disease.

Direct Primary Care (DPC):
